She utilizes an integrative approach that focuses on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and specializes in Exposure and Response Prevention (E/RP) for the treatment of Anxiety Spectrum Disorders.
Dr. Mousa is passionate about her work and is deeply dedicated to creating lasting change in people’s lives. She identifies as a Wounded Healer, and because she has personally gone through her own journey of healing, it’s helped her approach her practice with more empathy, compassion, and non-judgment.
One of the most important things she’s learned is that you need a trusting relationship with your therapist; she provides a warm and safe environment where you can feel encouraged to open up and express what you’re thinking and feeling.
